CAA conduct two Basic Courses, one ATS and next ARFF. ATS  stands for Air Traffic Services and ARFF stands for Aerodrome  Rescue and Fire Fighting. These two courses are the basic courses to enter the ATC ( Air Traffic Controller) and ARFF job in CAAN. With out this course, one cannot enter into ATC or ARFF job. ATS training is six month duration course and ARFF is around four month duration course. To get these training one has to complete examination conducted by Civil Service Commission. CAA publish public notice to enroll the trainees into these two courses.
