The chief of Engineering faculty acts as facility repair and maintenance manager of ATO-ATS and remains committed to contributing to the safety regularity and efficiency of air navigation / flight operations by carrying out the maintenance of the facility and training equipment / devices in accordance with the approved Facility Repair and Maintenance Manual, in addition s/ he is responsible for the production of skilled and competent manpower in the areas of CNS inclusive of radio electronics, electrical, mechanical, RADAR, computer, etc. by formulating, implementing and managing basic, refreshers and orientation courses thereof as may be required to satisfy the need of CAAN and industry remaining within the framework of ICAO requirements, standards and recommended practices as well as CAAN specifications thereof in accordance with the CAAN- approved Training and Procedures Manual.
